A short historical work of fiction set locally and using the castle of Berry Pomeroy, Totnes and Paignton as its focus. The romantic tale conceived in 2007 was inspired and influenced by  Sir Walter Scott’s ‘Ivanhoe’..

After self publishing Matthew and Sarah Clarke from the award winning Torbay Bookshop kindly gave me a book launch. I’d like to think it’s time for a fresh outing for this story, historical fiction now so popular.
